A young woman named
Marie is found unconcisous on a lonely road by Roman, a wealthy socialite.
She experiences his lifestyle of "helping people"-- providing
a good ear for people with problems. Both characters reveal their secrets,
as Marie realizes that she must confront her past.
Thoughts:
Another one of my "dramatic"
pieces of work, attempting to focus on two characters that have hidden secrets.
I can't say that the film works altogether, but it has it's moments. During
the middle of shooting, certain scenes had to be re-written and structured
to the way the actors were portraying the characters. The film ended up
becoming something that I hadn't planned on, which may be better that it
was originally written. I wouldn't say this project was a total misfire,
but I did feel that it's total potential was never reached. I certainly
learned from it and am glad I did it, even though the the final result wasn't
exactly great.
