Matt's Thoughts:
The idea started out as
this silent short about this quirky librarian who we follow around for a day,
narrated in french. Of course, this all changed when I needed something to
shoot for the spring of 2005. Alas the REAL Librarian was born! From there,
we auditioned and assembled a terrific cast, including actress Amy Jean Page
as our "Librarian" named Henrietta Fink. Shooting went pretty well
in my opinion, with a big chunk of it taking place on a weekend in Prescott,
AZ. We couldn't seem to find a basement for Henrietta's house, so it ended
up being Malcolm's parent's garage dressed with boxes to look like a basement.
(like you ever doubted...) Overall i'm very happy with the film, it certainly
was the right type of story to put on the screen for spring of '05.
